Amanda Couto
She was born in San Juan and raised in Coamo, Puerto Rico. From childhood she entered the world of the arts. By the age of five she staring taking art classes, focusing mostly on drawing and painting. In 2010, she was in photojournalism camp where she was recognized for exhibiting one of her photographs. In 2013, she entered the Escuela de Bellas Artes José I. Quintón"" in Coamo where she studied for 6 years theater and film. In 2015, she began making short films. The first one titled "La vida despues de la muerte" that participated in "Ponte los Cortos" Festival. Thanks to the Festival, in 2018 she got a intership to work in the magazine "Balance" in Ponce with Uma Blasini (ex-Miss P. R.). That same year, she was stage manager in the play "Barbastro" by Talento Libre Media Group, LLC and Meyta Casa Productora. In 2023 she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a major concentration in Photography and two minors in Visual Arts and Cinematography from the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, San Juan, Puerto Rico.
